Hi, I’m Clay, and I’m a reader. Like, a serious reader. A few years ago, I set a goal to read four books a month, and I’ve been happily exceeding that ever since. People often ask me how I manage to read so much, so I thought I’d share my thoughts and experiences here.

This blog is a place where I’ll be sharing my reviews and reflections on the books I devour. I started it for a couple of reasons: to hone my writing skills and to really let the books I read sink in. Plus, I’m hoping to connect with other book lovers!

My reading habits are a bit of a mix. I find that switching between genres and topics keeps things fresh and helps me keep each book distinct. I love listening to audiobooks for non-fiction—perfect for commutes or chores—while I prefer the feel of a physical book or my Kindle for fiction. I aim for at least ten minutes of reading a day with physical books, which adds up surprisingly quickly. Of course, sometimes I sneak in a fifth book—usually a comforting reread of an old favorite.
This routine works for me, but everyone’s reading journey is different. I’m excited to share mine with you, and I’d love to hear about yours too! Let’s talk books!
